| HEART to HEART ~ HAND to HAND How you can reach out personally to an Iraqi refugee family in Jordan |
When you donate $20 or more, we will hand-deliver your photos and your personal notes or cards to the Iraqi refugee
family you assist. In exchange, we will send you photos of the family and their personal message to you by e-mail
(You can choose the option to have the response and photos of families you help sent to you by US Postal Service - please see Message &
Photo Guidelines for details)
Note: smaller donations may be paired together, depending on the amount needed for each family's assistance.
Recipient families will be given the messages and photos of all of those who contributed to assist them.

| How to participate |
If you donate online:
note: we will not print your photos or have your message translated until we
have confirmed that your donation has cleared
- Visit our donate page - which takes you to our account
page of our fiscal sponsor, International Humanities
Center
- Make your contribution of $20 or more by credit / debit
card - or PayPal
- Write your personal message to a refugee family and
send it to us in an e-mail or by US Post
Office
- Send no more than two photos of you or your family -
either as e-mail attachment or by mail with your
message

- If you send your message by e-mail, please put your full
name as it is on your credit / debit card and the amount
you donated in the subject line
note: we will not print your photos or have your message translated until we
have confirmed that your donation has cleared
If you donate through the mail:
- Visit our donate page - where you will find our mailing
address and information about how to make out your
check
- Put your check, photos and message together, in the
same envelope when you mail them to us
- Write "Heart to Heart" on the outside of the envelope
- Make sure you put them into the mail by June 1 at latest
to assure that it will arrive here before we leave for
Amman on June 12th

MESSAGES:
Please keep short - no more than one medium-size paragraph because they
will be translated into Arabic before being given to families.
If you are sending your message by US Postal Service, consider sending it in a
nice card that families will enjoy receiving
Please do not send any religious pamphlets or other religious materials
PHOTOS:
Please send no more than TWO photos if you are attaching them to an e-mail
NOTE: we will print your photos to include with a print-out of your message
before we leave for Jordan on June 12
Hard copy photos sent by US Postal Service should be no larger than 4" x 6"
