Artwork by Iraqi refugee children in Jordan
These children and their families had to flee
the dangers of Iraq to live as refugees in
Jordan.

Their artwork gives you a glimpse into their
world - the images of war and death along
with the same images children draw when
they live in safety: flowers, sunny skies and
their homes.

For these children "home" is no longer the
center of their world, where they  felt safe.
Now "home" is sometimes lost completely
through bombs or theft for some. For others
it is far away and to return could mean death.

Children are always the losers in war.
CRP funds bought art supplies for these children.  They came together to  share their art and to receive small gifts in
exchange for it.  CRP will be showing exhibitions of the children's art and using it to make calendars and other items
that will be for sale for fund raising.
